This book tells of a boy named Alex. This book describes the period of World War II - How did the people? What experience? Alex's mother went to visit the members of the movement in the ghetto A and does not back away. Against all odds Alex avoids selection - it means all the people gathering in one place and then they all go out one by one through the gate. Exchange are Germans, with German factory, the Polish partner and police officers. They choose who to send to the camps and who is not. His father and his father's friend - Baruch, do not know when the moment will come when everyone will gather into groups and from there to scratch therefore ordered Alex to hide at number 78 on Bird Street. Alex is hiding alone in a ruined when his father was sent to another group and Alex does not know what with. During this period, Alex learns how to fend for themselves and cope in difficult situations. Alex waiting and waiting for his dad to come and does not know if he came back. Days turn into weeks and weeks into months, but Alex did not give up and keep on waiting father hiding himself. Is the father will end?

אני ממליצה לקרוא את הספר " האי ברחוב הציפורים" מאת אורי אורלב.

בספר זה מסופר על ילד ושמו אלכס. ספר זה מתאר את תקופת מלחמת העולם השנייה-כיצד התמודדו האנשים ? ומה חוו ? אמו של אלכס הלכה לבקר את חברי תנועתה בגיטו א' ואינה חזרה משם. כנגד כל הסיכויים אלכס מתחמק מהסלקציה – פירוש המילה היא שאוספים את כל האנשים למקום אחד ואז כולם יוצאים אחד אחד דרך השער. בשער עומדים הגרמנים,בעלי בית החרושת הגרמניים , שותפו הפולני וגם שוטרים. הם בוחרים מי ישלח למחנות ומי לא. אביו וחברו של אביו – ברוך, אינם ידעו מתי יגיע הרגע שבו יאספו את כולם לקבוצות ומשם למחנות לכן מהתחלה הורו לאלכס להתחבא בבית מספר 78 ברחוב הציפורים. אלכס מתחבא לבדו בבית ההרוס בזמן שאביו נשלח לקבוצה אחרת ואלכס אינו יודע מה איתו. במשך תקופה זו אלכס לומד כיצד להסתדר לבד ולהתמודד במצבים קשים. אלכס מחכה ומחכה שאביו יחזור ובכלל אינו יודע אם  יחזור. ימים הופכים לשבועות ושבועות הופכים לחודשים, אך אלכס לא נכנע וממשיך לחכות לאביו במחבוא לבדו. האם אביו  יחזור בסוף ?

כדאי לכם לקרוא את הספר "האי ברחוב הציפורים" מכיוון שזהו ספר מותח ומסקרן לקראת מה שעלול לקרות בהמשך . בחלקים רבים מהספר יש עלילה מותחת המעלה לקורים שאלות רבות לגבי מה שעלול לקרות בהמשך- איך ? האם באמת ? מה ? מי ? ועוד... בנוסף ספר זה מלמד על עצמאות, התמודדות במצבים קשים , לדבוק במטרה , לא להתייאש ולחשוב חיובי על הטוב ולא על הרע. אני בטוחה שתהינו לקרוא  את הפרק האחרון בספר זה  מפני שפרק זה מאוד מרגש ומותח .

Alex stayed with Henrik, Henrik was feverish and wounded from the gunshot. Henrik told him they wanted the Polish side but they were caught. Alex went to a doctor. OUT to THE DOCTOR took the ball from Henrik. He left Alex bandages, iodine and ammunition to recover Henrik. . Alex and Mr. Bolek passed Henrik Polish side, and Alex remained in hiding. . . One day after a while Alex heard two people talking on the first floor of the home of a boy who was shot and an old man. Alex heard and recognized the voice of his father. He looked down and saw his father.

היה נער יהודי שחווה את השואה ושמו אלכס. מסופר כי אמו של אלכס יצאה ולא חזרה מאז . לאלכס עכבר לבן בשם שלג. כשאלכס  לבדו במחבוא שהיה בגטו , שלג נשאר איתו , אך כשאלכס הולך למפעל של אביו , שלג נשאר בבית בתוך קופסת נעליים. . אביו של אלכס הראה לו  את האקדח שלו ואימן אותו כיצד לירות באקדח  ולכוון את האקדח לכיוון הנכון . . יום אחד כהלכו אלכס ואביו למפעל של אביו , באו חיילים גרמניים ולקחו את כל עובדי המפעל  למחנות עבודה. אלכס התחבא עם ברוך הזקן בין הארגזים שהיו במפעל , עד שלפתע בא חייל מצא אותם. . כשהחייל מצא את אלכס וברוך הזקן ברוך נתן לאלכס תיק ובו אוכל , פנס והאקדח של אביו, . החיילים לקחו את ברוך למחנה אך אלכס ברך מן החיילים. אביו הבטיח לו שיבוא אליו עוד מעט, אז אלכס הולך לבית ונכנס למקום שבו אמרו לו יש חור  קטן בקיר, שרק ילד יכול להיכנס אליו. בהתחלה אלכס פחד, אבל לאחר כמה ימים הוא החליט לחזור הביתה על מנת להביא אוכל מהמחבוא שלהם ושל משפחת גרין. כשאלכס הגיע, , משפחת גרין לא הסכימו לתת לו אוכל. בסופו של דבר נתנו לו אוכל בתנאי שלא יחזור אליהם שוב. אבל לפעמים קבל אוכל מבתים אחרים ומשפחות שונות פעם הוא פגש איש ששמו אדון בולק, שעובד עם המחתרת היהודית שהייתה בצד הפולני שמעבר לחומת הגטו. אלכס  החליט לעבור לגור על אחת מהקומות ההרוסות של הבית, החיילים הגרמנים לא הצליחו להיכנס לחור הקטן כשבאו לחפש.. הוא מביא חבלים ובונה סולמות כדי שיוכל לעלות למעלה . כמה ימים אחר כך, באו חיילים ופוצצו את החור הקטן שבו אלכס חי בזמן המלחמה.

החיילים מצאו את אלכס. אלכס ירד ולקח פתיליה, נפט, אוכל ומים ומתקלח שם. . יום אחד אלכס שמע דרך החלון של הבית החדש וויכוח בין שני אנשים יהודים, אחד תשוש ופצוע מירייה והשני חברו, וחייל גרמני. החייל כיוון עליהם את הנשק ודרך עליהם, אבל כשאלכס רואה זאת הוא יורה בו. שני האנשים, הנריק האיש שנפצע, הפצוע, ופרדי, חברו.עלו למחבואשל אלכס,. אלכס נשאר עם הנריק, הנריק היה קודח מחום ופצוע מהירייה. הנריק סיפר לו שרצו לעבור לצד הפולני אבל הם נתפסו. אלכס יצא למצוא רופא. ההרופא הוציא את הכדור מידו של הנריק. הוא השאיר לאלכס תחבושות, יוד וכדורים כדי להחלים את הנריק. . אלכס ואדון בולק העבירו את הנריק לצד הפולני, ואלכס נשאר במחבואו. . . יום אחד  לאחר כמה זמן אלכס שמע שני אנשים שדיברו בקומה הראשונה של ביתו על ילד שנורה ואיש זקן. אלכס שמע וזיהה את קול אביו . הוא הסתכל למטה ו ראה את אביו.
